LaSalle Developing Bylaws on Short-Term Rentals

By OCRMA on 6 October 2025

The Town of LaSalle is looking at ways to manage short-term rentals in the community.

The town is working with WSP Canada to study what changes could be made to the town’s zoning and municipal by-laws.

A short-term rental is a property or room that is rented out for short-term stays, rather than serving as a permanent residence.

As part of the study, the town wants to hear from residents. It’s holding a public information session on Thursday, October 23, 202,5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Vollmer Centre.

After the study is complete, several options will be presented to the council for consideration.
